Big Milestone Is Coming Up for the Earthly Bros !

We recently held a collection event at the local library, and it was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who showed up and to everyone at the library who let us use some of their space.

The Electronics Recycling Association (ERA) truck came to pick up our items. They count every piece, so we always know exactly how many items were collected and donated to the ERA. We keep track of this every time. This is so exciting because we now only need 58 items to reach the milestone of 1,000 e-waste items collected since we started this initiative almost 3 years ago. We want to do something special to celebrate, but we don't know what yet. If you have ideas, let us know.

This is exciting because we not only saved all these items from ending up in the landfill, but because the ERA's mission is to refurbish used tech and donate it to Canadian charities, we also helped get 942 items to Canadians in need. Maybe this helped them with their schoolwork, or get a job, or simply manage everyday life, such as keeping track of medical appointments. That's why I am proud to volunteer for the ERA. I help reuse tech items that still have value before giving up on them and recycling them.
